We're still around

It has been a long time since we've made a post...but we are still here! We got a new camera for our birthdays/Christmas present! "We" meaning Steve mostly, which I'm okay with. He has more of an eye for photography and art! These two pictures of our cute sons are some of his beginning work. :) We have yet to get a photo editing software, so they are pretty basic to the camera only.

Recent happenings:
  • T.J. and Steve celebrated their birthdays the day before Thanksgiving (T.J. turned two!) When people ask him either "How are you?" or "How old are you?" He answers "Good. I'm two." He isn't able to figure out the difference yet. :)
  • Heber rolls EVERYWHERE. Quite often we find him under the Christmas tree, probably because it has pretty lights.
  • Heber is such a content and happy baby most of the time. Always smiling at us and happy to be with people he knows.
  • T.J. is learning how to share with a baby that likes toys now. Learning being the key word! :)
  • T.J. copies everything we say lately. Its funny most of the time. He has been calling us by our first names lately sometimes. "Steve!" and "Bin-ney" For example today he and I were playing with his trains. He kept asking me "How do this, Bin-ney?"
We are enjoying the holiday season! Happy holidays! Hopefully we'll do a holiday post soon.

cute pictures! lydia finally stopped calling us our first names (which she did all the time for a few months). i thought it was kind of cute. :)

free photo editing programs you could use:
picasa (a google program - it is pretty basic, but it does have some good features to it. i use it sometimes still when i don't want to spend the time that photoshop can take) http://picasa.google.com/

gimp - more advanced, and similar to photoshop. however it is free. :) http://www.gimp.org/ i haven't ever used it, but i have heard there is a learning curve to it, just like there is with photoshop.

picnik is another fun, free one. it has some cool effects you can use. http://www.picnik.com/

photoshop elements goes on sale occasionally (last year, i saw it for as cheap as $30). I think it is usually around $100 or so. It would be a good one if you are wanting a photoshop program.

good luck and i am glad you are still around. :)
